How trades work
Our operations follow international oil trade law, along with the local oil trade laws of whichever countries we're operating in. That's not a formality for us — it's genuinely how we decide the way a deal gets structured. We arrange delivery to a port on a CIF basis, or straight from storage tanks, and every CIF delivery follows the CIF Incoterms written into the sales contract from our nominated supplier. We also hold ourselves to international banking practices and codes of conduct. If funds involved in a deal turn out to be of criminal origin, we won't hesitate to end the contract — the purchasing company gets notified in writing, and we reserve the right to report the matter to the relevant authorities.
Society Petroleum Company Oil manages the sales and negotiation process hands-on, start to finish, because that's how risk stays low for both our suppliers and our buyers.Questions about a specific product or delivery method? Our contact page is the fastest way to reach us.
